Enroll/Cost

All medical students must maintain continuous health insurance coverage while enrolled at HWCOM by either enrolling with this plan or showing proof of comparable coverage.

Eligible students who do enroll may also insure their dependents.

Enrollment must be within 31 days of the qualifying event. Newborn enrollment must be within 60 days after birth. You may be requested to provide documentation verifying the date of the qualifying event (e.g. birth certificate, marriage license, I-94 travel history, boarding pass, letter showing a loss of coverage). Coverage will be effective beginning the first day following your loss of coverage.
